Enify Control Carousel | Automated Video Wall & Room Displays

Enify Carousel lets you turn any screen setup into a structured, automated display loop. By combining multiple Boards into a carousel, Enify rotates content at set intervals, keeping information fresh, relevant, and visible without manual interaction. This article lets you know how to use this new feature.

How Carousel works

A Carousel is built using your existing Enify Boards. Each board is shown in turn, using its own screen layout and tools.

Once started, Enify automatically loops through the boards based on the timing you set.

Carousels are ideal for:
  • Empty screens - fill them with information instead of leaving it empty
  • Information screens
  • Situational awareness displays
  • Surveillance or monitoring environments
  • …anywhere you need screens to update on their own.

When to use Enify Carousel

Use Carousel if you want to:
  • Display live status or KPI info on shared or wall-mounted screens
  • Rotate between views without user input
  • Keep screens active in unattended or semi-attended areas
  • Support situational awareness in control rooms or operational hubs

Create a Carousel

  1. Open Enify and select two or more Boards
  2. Click Save as Carousel
  3. Configure settings (see below)
  4. Click Save

Your Carousel now appears under the Carousel tab.

Carousel settings explained

🔒 Transparent lock screen
Keeps your PC secure in unattended or public areas. Prevents unauthorized access to OS and applications.

🧹 Clear desktop
Keeps the carousel clean and distraction-free. No background pop-ups or overlapping windows.

⏱ Timing
Controls how long each board is shown before switching.

  • Adjustable: 5 seconds–5 minutes
  • Shorter: for monitoring or alert scenario
  • Longer: for dashboards or presentation loops

Start and run a Carousel

  1. Go to the Carousel section
  2. Click the Play icon on your desired carousel
  3. Enify prepares and opens the relevant tools
  4. Boards rotate automatically based on your settings

  • Design boards for clarity and carousel use
  • Use consistent screen sizes and layout ratios
  • Test timing for readability
  • Enable lock screen and clear desktop in unattended settings
